Hypnotherapy is the use of positive suggestions and different methods said to a client whilst in a very relaxed state of mind.

Everybody experiences being in a hypnotic trance on a daily basis. Whether this be being lost in a good book, watching the television or listening to music whilst driving – everyone experiences it in a lighter form. Being in a hypnotic trance simply means being very relaxed, a heightened sense of relaxation and awareness.

When you are relaxed in such a way, your mind is more susceptible to positive changes and suggestions and it is possible to connect with your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is extremely powerful and contains a higher power of wisdom and infinite wisdom which can help you overcome any issues you may have.

Yes. Hypnosis is a very relaxing experience and very safe. It is not the same as stage hypnosis which you see on the television – very different. You are completely in control of your own mind and body, and you will not do anything your body does not want to do.

Hypnosis can be a wonderful experience. You can feel so calm, peaceful and as if in a dreamlike state or drifting of off into a comfortable sleep. You are aware of everything around you yet your mind may wander onto something entirely different. Every client is individual – some people remember everything that is said, however, some drift of off and only remember parts of the session. Both are completely normal and do not effect affect the outcome in anyway. You are not asleep during hypnosis.

Everyone can be hypnotised. If you want help and you want to be hypnotised then you will. If you don’t want to be it is very difficult to achieve as you are the one who is in control.

No. There are no known negative side effects from hypnotherapy. People do report better sleep and a feeling of great calmness after sessions.

Depending on the issue, results are normally immediate. With different issues such as weight loss and depression, clients report dramatic changes within just a few days. Every client is individual and hypnotherapy helps greatly if you want to be helped. The motivation to succeed must come from you in order to notice good results. (removed because) Although hypnotherapy has a success rate over 90% – the clients themselves need to have their own determination to succeed and as with all hypnosis guarantees cannot be made.

It all depends on what your issue is. After your consultation I will have a rough guideline of how many it will take. I like to see results fast however your peace of mind and progress is my priority.

Yes. If you feel more comfortable being in the comfort of your own surroundings I can travel to you personally. This is not a problem for me in any way at all.
